Directed by Daniel Edelstyn & Hilary Powell
SYNOPSISOn a quiet residential street, a simple idea turns into a collective experiment in art, infrastructure, and community organizing.
ABOUT THE FILMDirected by Daniel Edelstyn & Hilary Powell (2025), Power Station takes place in the depths of the pandemic when two artist-activists decide that instead of power bills going through the roof, power should come off the roof. Along the way, the film captures moments of skepticism, celebration, and the everyday negotiations required to turn vision into visible change. Rather than opposing a system from the outside, the artists redesign their immediate environment, transforming rooftops into symbols of shared responsibility and collective power.
This film is shown as a double feature with The Art of Protest.
