Design is never neutral.
It shapes the world around
us and the ways we push back against it.

Film Week Manifesto

This film week brought together stories that show how resistance is imagined and brought to life through design across scales and disciplines. Spanning grassroots activism, cultural expression, architecture, public space, media, and identity, the films uncover the intention and creativity shaping acts of resistance.

Throughout the week, screenings were paired with conversations, panels, and gatherings that extend beyond the theatre.

Designing Resistance Trailer

From city walls to civic structures, these films reveal the composure, construction, and intentionality in designing resistance.
